Wired has an interesting story about social-networking sites — and their business plans: "Are Socialites Still Networking?" The implications (or at least questions) for a non-profit like InterVarsity are many, including: What's our "business" (that is, ministry) plan for virtual communities? How would these pay for themselves? Could we and should we hope to be a player in a web-technology segment that turns over technology and capital so fast?
