Lydia mentioned this to me in conversation on Wednesday, and since I'm the only Pantherized Mac user in the gang, it seems to me I might as well go ahead and post about it. But full props to Lydia.
A user group called MacWarriors at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has released an app called TrailBlazer for Mac OS 10.3, which has one special feature: it displays a graphical view of your browser history. TrailBlazer is a bit buggy and the browser it's built into is a bit clunky, but as proof-of-concept it's very effective. Their site has an explanation of the project, screen shots, and a video tutorial.

Posted by: Brad Farris at April 3, 2004 02:30 PMI think part of the point of the project was to build it using various Mac development tools (which they name on the site). But it's such a winner that I'm sure trying to take the idea into other browsers is a natural.
